There are a number of benefits to doing this which include being able to wake up on time for Fajr prayer and also so one does not end up spending that time idly doing unproductive or in some cases haram things.

How to start Implementing Sunnahs into Daily Life
We recommend you start with the easier of the sunnahs and then slowly build up to implementing them all.
Starting with something simple like dusting the bed three times and sleeping with your hand under your right cheek should be very simple.
Once you’ve noticed you’re doing these on a regular basis start adding the others and before you know it, you’ll be doing them without thinking!
